Documents Checklist
Track the documents you need for GP registration and visa applications in Australia. Tick items off as you gather them.
This checklist is provided as general guidance to help you prepare. Specific requirements may vary depending on your visa subclass, country of training, and individual circumstances. Always confirm exact requirements with your migration agent, the Department of Home Affairs, and the Medical Board of Australia.

A note on certified copies
Many organisations, including AHPRA and the Department of Home Affairs, require certified copies of original documents rather than plain photocopies. In the UK, documents can be certified by a solicitor, notary public, or Justice of the Peace. In Australia, documents can be certified at a post office, pharmacy, police station, or by a Justice of the Peace (usually free of charge). Some documents may also need to be apostilled or authenticated for use overseas. Check specific requirements for each application.
